While holding the bucking bar in position, place your rivet gun perpendicular to a rivet and skin and apply a couple of gentle compressions to the gun. The central opening of the Snap Soc® will now be covered with a microfilm of the thermal forming plastic material.

To ensure a snug fit, simply give the Snap Soc® a squeeze before applying the cap. When the Snap Soc® shows wear on one side, rotate it slightly to increase its life. Snap Soc® will fit on some 1/2 inch diameter squeeze type pneumatic riveting tools.
